You need to give us the Drive layout of your machine. Do you have 
separate partitions for 9 and X ?
I think it's best to have X on it's own partition.
I think you might try re-blessing your System Folder. Follow the 
directions at OWCs OS X center.

You didn't say which utility you're using- XPostFacto ? Do you have the 
latest version?
