No it was a nasty attack of PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair). I forgot to read the instrucyions for 10.1 - doh! I have anthoer query, having successfully installed OS X and updated to 10.1.4 (I still can't believe how well it runs, even though I only have 64MB or RAM at the mo.). I have a Belkin USB card and a PCI FireWire card (I forget the brand). I have a small problem with them in OS X (untested in OS 9.1) in that if I try to play an Audio CD over FW from a burner through my USB Digital Port it crashes the USB bus completely (USB Mouse, k/b, Zio and, of course, Audio stop dead). No amount of replugging or tooling around with the plugs helps. Anyone a) have this happen to them or b) know how to re-init the USB module in OS X ? -- -- Mark Benson SilValleyPirate - AIM silicon_valley_pirate_uk - Yahoo!
