Hello all,
Got a 9500 w/Newertech 220MHZ G3 and got X installed.
I've had a 7500 and a 7600 with G3 & G4 Upgrade cards
and have always removed the motherboard cache and used
the L2 cache on the upgrade card. The problem is on
the 9500 when I remove the motherboard cache the
machine won't boot. After I reinstall the motherboard
cache, it boots and seems to work fine. Is this normal
for the 9500 series Powermacs? Also, would a 350MHZ
604e card be faster than the 220MHZ G3 even though
it's a 604e?
