In XPostFacto there's an Input Device and Output Device selection in one of the menus. If the Radeoon card is installed there will be a string like pci2/ATY,RV100Parent/ATY,RV100ad_A ...something that will end in A or B. this sets the 'boot screen' to the A port (the VGA) or the B prot (the DVI) connector on the Radeon, otherwise they're blank until you've completely booted up. You can also do this in OSX by entering th following command in Terminal: sudo nvram output-device pciX/ATY,RV100Parent/ATY,RV100ad_A where X is the PCI slot your Radeon is in. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lemlists.com> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
