I just have to share. I now have OSX 10.2.2 running on my main S900. I have had my share of issues, but it is now up and running and have all but converted over from using OS 9.1. I have a few programs that I still run on OS 9, but have most others now on X.
I am now running OSX on my S900 with 592 megs of ram, w/VM off, ATI Radeon 7000, SIIG USB card, Sonnet G3 500mhz card, Acard Ahard RAID AEC-6860M card running (striped) twin IBM 30gig 75GXP drives , original Matsushita CD, and Yamaha CDRW 8424, and loving it! My machine first had issues with the raid. I installed an old SCSI and was able to install OSX on the SCSI, then was able to install directly onto the raid array. Then with the original Twin Turbo card was running graphics very slow, so it was replaced with the Radeon. I had to update to OS 9.2.1 to enable the Radeon card. Got that software at, OS9 Forever site. The Orange Micro Firewire/USB combo card that I had, needed to be replaced with the SIIG USB card. Now I am running fairly fast, not as quick as my 800mhz TiBook, but quick enough to run on a daily basis.
