This is the error message that comes up.It only happens on system
10.2.3. When you attempt to save Word Document to the Windows File
Server running Services for Macintosh, it reads, There is an
unrecoverable disk error on the File Word Work FileD_3. The disk you
are working on has a media problem that prevents Word from using it.
After that Word Crashes and you lose all your work. The problem does
not appear in 10.2, 10.2.1, or 10.2.2. I can not use SMB because the
Mac clients cannot recognize the file types when you mount a Windows
Server over SMB. Thank you for the 10.2.2 link. I will downgrade all
Machines to 10.2.2, while I resolve the problem with Microsoft. Of
course if you have any insights your knowledge is welcome.
