Eric, What Cache-enabling software are you running? L2CacheConfig or one of the PowerLogix/XLR8/Sonnet kind? Are you able to run with cache disabled? If so, give that a try. If that works, then perhaps a different version of cache-enabling software might help. Just a thought.
