I can get the 16GB IBM drive to boot to OS 9.2 but I still can't get it to
boot to the OSX. I used to the volume inspector on XPF, at first, it showed
OSX installed but not BootX. So I went thru the whole routine again. It now
shows BootX installed but still won't boot to OSX. It acts like it knows it
is trying to boot to an unsupported machine.
Does it matter for OSX which SCSI ID the boot disk is on? The 16GB drive is
on SCSI ID 2. The original 2 GB Quantum drive is on 0.
I did try cmd-v at boot. I'm not sure what I was looking at. But I didn't
recognize an error msg. It did check the Quantum first and went to the IBM
drive ... twice ... then stopped.
