Unless there's some big breakthroughs in power and substrait technologies, I think we'll be seeing both active and passive liquid jacket systems in use on more and more processors, from all the manufacturers.
Amazing how things come full circle. Wasn't too long ago, with a staff of 4, I ran a large VAXcluster in the same machine room as an IBM mainframe. We were aircooled and didn't care about power failures. The IBM side (with a staff of 12) had a massive chilled water system, a room full of backup lead acid batteries, and a big diesel generator. I'll never forget the day the janitor said "excuse me, but I think the computers are leaking"...
