Wow, I feel like I did something big, since the "Apple x86??" thread that has been going the past few days, was initiated by me. I didn't know we wouldn't be discussing anything else, for days!
So, anyway, I remember someone mentioned x86 OS X would probably drop support for Classic. Well, there is SheepShaver that will do OS 9.0.4(7 and 8 also, I believe), which if networking support were added, and able to go to 9.1, 9.2.1, 9.2.2, would be able to take that place. Honestly, that doesn't sound like much...perhaps it is? So, what does everyone think of that? Perhaps there will be another list, UnsupportedOS9? Perhaps there will be another list, UnsupportedOSX-x86? Note: We are all currently using OS X in some unsupported manner. I have two 10 year old computers running 10.2.8! I'm not exactly scared of the current machines being considered obsolete. Anything you buy today, will be good for a long time. -Lars -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
