This is very frustratting. Came as long as to choose disks, and got
told that OSX has to be on the first 8 gigs. Reformatted disk, now
black screen every time XPF tries to install X.
Plenty of RAM (512 MB), machine of the G3 type that sits in a 8600 casing.
I have OS9 on one partition, and use that as helper (Also XPF on that disk).
Restart w/XPF, & all I get is a black screen (no video signal out).
Rom revision $77D.45F2
6 MB VRAM, 1 MB L2 cache.
Any suggestions?
