Dear list,
I own a 9600, before upgrading to G3/300 I succesfully installed 10.1 on
original scsi 4G disk, using original CD drive. Now, I upgraded to
Newertech G3/300, Sonnet Tempo ATA, 20G IDE HD + DVD on the same ide
channel. I can't go further than 10.1 (using latest Xpostfacto), most of
time 10.2, 10.3 or even tiger installs then stops at boot time (waiting
for root device). I install either on the 4G scsi (I have another 4G
with OS9) or 8G partition on the IDE HD. I removed and shuffled around
my memory banks. The internal video is tt128, but it is supposed to work
with OSX>10.1, isn't it? I really dunno what to try next, tha machine
has full of potential to be unleashed, if only i can put 10.3 and safari
and the stuff alike.
