True, but I figured it would be easier & quicker to just cable up an
external drive and use that!

Actually, I've had no problems with /installing/ it - just with running it.

Hmm. If I can find a suitable cooling fan to put on the CPU, I might try that.

That's often the way with proper protect-mode OSs, on PCs as well as
Macs. Also applies to SCSI chains with incorrect termination and so on
- classic MacOS and MS-DOS were pretty forgiving whereas OS X or NT
are fussy. I figure that it's good to know if you have a problem!
