Hello! While running the configure script for version 10 I saw this happen: checking for libusb-config... /usr/bin/libusb-config checking for usb_find_devices... yes checking for libftdi-config... /usr/bin/libftdi-config checking for ftdi_usb_open... yes checking for FT_OpenEx in -lftd2xx... no configure: WARNING: *** libftd2xx not found. No support for FTDI-based USB JTAG cables via libftd2xx.
Regarding the libftdi-config line, that one I discovered was built in the copy of the library I have, version 0.16 and I promptly copied it over to the /usr/bin location. The matching library is in /usr/lib. But what is it talking about there? Is that remark about the library described on the FTDIchip site itself? That one isn't even distributed as open source as it happens. And as it ends, it says this: jtag is now configured for Detected libusb : yes Detected libftdi : yes Detected libftd2xx : no Detected inpout32 : no Build SVF player : yes Build BSDL subsystem : yes Bus drivers : au1500 avr32 bcm1250 bf526_ezkit bf527_ezkit bf533_stam p bf533_ezkit bf537_stamp bf537_ezkit bf538f_ezkit bf548_ezkit bf561_ezkit bscoa ch ejtag ejtag_dma fjmem ixp425 jopcyc h7202 lh7a400 mpc5200 mpc824x ppc405ep pp c440gx_ebc8 prototype pxa2x0 pxa27x s3c4510 sa1110 sh7727 sh7750r sh7751r sharc_ 21065L slsup3 tx4925 zefant_xs3 Cable drivers : arcom byteblaster dlc5 ea253 ei012 ft2232 igloo jlink k eithkoep lattice mpcbdm triton usbblaster wiggler xpc Lowlevel drivers : direct ftdi Does that last line confirm my reasoning? Or do I need to ask a different question.
