Here are a few ideas for things you could do yourself:

For children: a holiday-themed digital coloring book which the child can color on the screen using a palette of colors provided by the programmer (you)--kinda like a very limited "paint" program

Digital flip book of family photos, other photos of interest (tho why you'd use Rev to reinvent a powerpoint file escapes me--but hey it's an idea

Digital Christmas card with animation and carols.
Variation on same, digital follow the bouncing ball karaoke program for Christmas carol sing-along (audio track has instrumental parts only).

I dredged up 20+ year old photos of my sister and brother-in-law during their first year of marriage and turned them into a cute little spiral-bound booklet of photos entitled "The Way We Were." They really loved it, especially since they hadn't seen the photos in years. You could do the same in Rev but, if you are lucky, include audio and video files (I had none, so hardcopy worked fine).

As for other people's programming, how about including Yibbah, if that's OK with Malte.

Ok, I'm out of ideas... can't wait to see what others come up with!

I am considering putting custom CDs in Christmas stockings this year. Maybe they can be handy if there is not too much chocolate smeared over them. Being a cheap old buzzard, I'm looking for free programs made with Revolution. Or stacks I can get permission to customize and make applications out of. Or just plain ideas, since I can make simple Revolution applications very fast. The cool thing about revolution is that family all over have Windows, OS X and Mac OS and I might be able to include similar programs for everybody.

I wish all a good Christmas including great holiday fun and nice presents. For me, this is also a time of worship and reflection.
