Yikes ... this is much closer to the iShell subscription model than the
REALBasic model, where you pay per version and updates are free until the
next major-number upgrade.

My total investment in REALBasic has been about $450 over a period of two
years -- just about manageable in my current freelance mode.  What would the
equivalent cost be for Revolution over this time period?  I already know
what the iShell cost would be (since it is a yearly subscription).

For those using a software such as Rev as an income-producing tool, we need
to know hard-and-fast yearly budget costs for our tools (I budget $500 a
year for upgrades for all the Adobe products I use, for instance).  It's
really helpful to have a predictable annual cost.
