Since I have been told by Kevin Miller that the "Rename" function does not
work as advertised in 1.0, does anyone know if it works properly in 1.1, or
if not, what might be a work around for moving a file to a new directory
without creating duplicate copies in both directories and then deleting the
original? When you are shuttling gigs of local files, the process would be
exceedingly slow compared to simply reassigning a file's directory,
rendering Rev effectively unusable for this purpose.
Gee, let's see... The core functionality of my project is simple direct FTP
of large files, and file reorganization through directory changes and file
renaming... BOTH of which Rev is incapable of doing properly at this point.
Perhaps Rev is not the tool for the job, which would be unfortunate and VERY
disappointing.
