Hi Igor, HT = HyperThreading.
more or less two processors in one. In RS you can benefit from more than one processor because of the box-rendering while raytracing the scene. (and sometimes in postprocessing, too) graphic-card-bus: PCI-Express In my opinion you should look for a good graphic-card with 256mb ram for using many textures Spend some money to the RAM. RS-Postprocessing needs it for highres images! Download a RS V5 demo from www.realsoft.com (if not already done)--> Download section. and check the fish scene (and play a little bit with textures) Preview here: http://www.matthias-kappenberg.de/index.php?id=112 render a GI-scene in highres 6000x6000px, too, and have a look at the taskmanager for RAM usage. Maybe have a look here: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041222/vga_charts-02.html or check other testsites, but ask your friends, to get their cards for one or two days. Hope this is helpy, Matthias
