Hi Neil..

Didnt my reply on this reach the list.. or didnt you see it or was it of no help?

This was part of it..
You have numerical as well as Sliders input.. for Heading, Pitching and Banking for the ViewCam..
RMB on view and select the 'View Properties', then 'Camera' Tab. down on that you have the controls, in the 'Orientation' Section

This above you can use directly or have the 'View Properties' Window open.. while you perform normal ViewCam operation.. with Alt key and mouse..
Using the normal workflow first for fast set of wanted rotation, then just polish the values in the 'View Properties' 'Orientation' Tab....

hope this mail gets to the list..=(.. (dunno why they dont, or why those that do reach, take forever to reach)
BegEdit.. as I now typed this mail, one of my mails to the betalist just reached me, Timestamp on it says 29/7-06 06:22, and I received it now 30/7-06 at 18:28... omg..12 hours.. its insane..=(..
Wonder what in hell could be wrong..hmm any ideas?

Btw.. I still think that there aint no Realtime constraints for the ViewCam..(for NON 45 angle steps..)

Take Care

Hi David,

Yes, I get the 45 degree steps using RMB+Alt+Shft, however my wish was for a non-stepped realtime constraint on the x axis for the viewport camera ... is this what you can get with a macro?

I dont think there is a realtime contraint for ViewCam rotations..(if my memory isnt failing me )
Would have been nice if the x,y,z and so on constaint keys would work in combination with for example the Alt+RMB ViewCam actions and others..

I think they do. I created macros for moving the camera 45 degrees on 3 axis, using Shift and Ctrl/Alt with RMB. It works for me!
