Hi guys, And thanx for all your input on this issue. Yes I saw this Polytrans, but as Nicolas said, it seems you need to own Max as well, and/or a special module is sold separately just to convert max-stuff. Thanx for your offer to convert my models. As I saw this need to own Max in order to convert, I continued to hunt for other models to my project and found what I needed. You don't need to waist time on this, thanx anyway. Best regards /Uffe ![]() Nicolas Holst skrev: Hi Aidan,Note that even with Polytrans you'll need a copy of 3ds Max (see below)! Uffe, I've got access to a copy of Max so you can send me the .max file and i'll convert it to .3ds. Note: it may take a couple of days. Nicolas >From the Okino website: --- Third generation PolyTrans-for-MAX native plug-in system with full object+camera animation (procedural or keyframe controllers), hierarchy, mesh skinning, skeleton and "Okino Arctic Toolkit" support. This is a completely new plug-in system for 3ds max, a mirror twin and sibling to the newest PolyTrans-for-Maya native plug-in system. --- Hi Ulf, If you are willing to spend some sheckles - unfortunately not cheap, but will do the trick from .max to a zillion other formats: Polytrans: http://www.okino.com/conv/filefrmt_3dimport.htm Cheers Aidan ---------------------------------------------- This mail sent through http://www.ukonline.net |
