Never mind about the double protocol link. In a conversation with a co-worker,
I found out that some experimenting was happening and the link was put in that
way manually (still not sure why).

So after setting up SSL with IIS is there any configuration that needs to
happen in Magnolia other than redirecting the unencrypted url? I'm thinking it
works something like this. If the call comes in as https://.../members.html
things proceed normally. If it comes in as http://...member.html, Magnolia
needs to be configured to catch it and redirect to https. If this is correct,
does the redirect happen from a filter or a Magnolia property or some other
mechanism?

Thanks, Bob
