I don't know of any Magnolia filter which does this. We had to write our own filter which does exactly what you describe below. The filter is not rocket science. The only difficult part about it is to figure out where in the filter chain to place it ;-)
When you play around with it: - don't do it on the shared server > only do it on your local machine - backup your Magnolia first Why?
