This! A thousand times this! Whenever I'm trying to explain how you find connected information without joins, people's eyes tend to glaze over until I a) draw the graph on the whiteboard, b) write out the Cypher query _directly_inside_the_graph_. That's the "no f-ing way!" moment for most people to see the power of graphs and graph query languages.
