Hallo
I tested the new m2eclipse with our java 1.5 projects.
I do like this new version a lot! it comes with long missed features
like updateing snapshot versions and sources.
I had some trouble with invalid poms (where dependencies where marked as
missing, since they are found in out internal maven repository). but a
install resolved this.
also the propper order of building the modules seemed not to work on the
first attempt. after restarting eclipse with -clean all modules are fine.
i someone has some feedback on using java 1.5 / eclipse 3.3 for java 1.4
based projects? eclipse requires java 1.5. which jdk does the maven
embedder use to compile the sources? the one configured in eclipse? or
the one used to start eclipse?
thanks a lot for the new version! it contains long awaited features we
where to lazy doing it ourselves :)
for me 0.9.0 is a huge improvement for the daily development work with
maven.
regards
ossi

Just wondering if any users had any feedback? I'm interested in seeing
if we're moving toward something that people are happy using.
Any comments would be welcome.
We will try to publish a roadmap of features, and we'll definitely be
putting resources behind having schedule and stable releases.
Thanks,
Jason
