And decide that the weekend starts Friday morning and ends Monday evening (or even Tuesday evening). We often have to finish things later than Sunday
and since these are rare enough having 4 to 5 days span seems not silly to me.

I have to agree with Nicolas, it's hard to manage participation at the weekend
but I will try to be there.
Maybe we should call it "Community Weekend" instead of "Community Day"?
