Yes, it does, I think I understand now. The problems I had arise from
(apart from my own stupidity of course!) the following:-
If I have it right the 'owncloud home' folder is both remote out
there on my server somewhere *and* isn't actually anything to do
with my home directory there. It consists of files/directories
stored within the Owncloud server. This wasn't at all clear to me
when I first tried to set up the Owncloud client.
