I didn't get far enough to have any actual code... I'm a JSF/Shale newbie,
but I offered to do the mailreader since it's not a complicated app and I
thought it would make a good learning experience for me, as well as get
something of a known quantity out there for those doing all the "Struts
vs. JSF" comparisons.  I was always concerned that what I would do
wouldn't be "best practices", but I figured it would be easier to just do
it and let Craig and Co. point out where I went wrong later.  Hell, it
would be absolutely mind-boggling if what I did was "right" the first
time, I would be thrilled just to get it to WORK :)

I can't speak for Craig of course, but I never produced any mailreader
code that I could share.  I got through the initial "hello world" phase
and was ready to begin actual mailreader work, and that's when I got
distracted. :(
