Interestingly, I can try to reload the failed computer. It does go through turning off and unregistering, then reloading. Perhaps all these functions are part of the VM host doing that.
Anyway, the Windows capture failed, so I will try it again. -- Al Quiros Enterprise Systems From: Joseph Fischetti <[email protected]> Reply-To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Date: Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 12:49 PM To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Windows Capture error Evelio, I seem to remember making a change in one of the provisioning scripts to set the SSH service to "auto". You can try manually connecting to the VM, opening up services.msc<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__services.msc&d=DwMFaQ&c=lhMMI368wojMYNABHh1gQQ&r=iomW2cpnE-Hdilsh5YvIBg&m=-OkAOBSqKAwpI869QbTnZ87SY-qPPgbinRNfs-uSdDc&s=SGlvOANmKrIOqXphByXvC3e0JZ1tRRDI_wUUBa-vKpY&e=>, and checking the status of the SSH service to see if that's part of the problem. That got me past the error. However, after the image capture and subsequent reload on the VM host, I see the computer in the list always on “reloading” state. It has been reloading for quite a while now. I expect it to time out eventually. It goes almost all the way through image capture and reload. But I suspect that Cygwin is no longer running, so VCL cannot SSH to the reloaded VM. -- Al Quiros Enterprise Systems From: Evelio Quiros <[email protected]> Reply-To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Date: Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 12:11 PM To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Windows Capture error Trying to capture a Windows 7 image. I logged into windows as root, ran the config script successfully. I executed Gen-node-key script and tried the SSH command successfully. However, although I can SSH to the windows VM, vcld still complains that SSH is closed. Did I miss a step somewhere ? Al Quiros
