Hi Luis,

When a Windows image is captured, sshd is configured to be manually started
and a startup script is created that changes it to autostart and then also
starts it. The reason for this is that if the image is captured with it set
to autostart, sshd can end up being started before the OS has fully
initialized. If that happens, vcld would detect that the VM could be
contacted via ssh and would start running commands to set up the reservation.
However, a number of the commands would fail because the OS wouldn't be fully
ready yet.

So, there must be a problem with the startup script setting sshd to autostart.
The script is created as a scheduled task. I think the task is named "VCL
Update Cygwin" and runs update_cygwin.cmd. Do you see anything like that
under scheduled tasks?
