Cool. Looking at libneon/Makefile, there's:
COMPONENT_TEST_ENV += PATH="$(GNUBIN):$(PATH)"
A similar line in pv/Makefile seems to work just fine. I suggest
that this is the simplest solution for fixing test #12.
