I correct myself: it does NOT work. Eclipse crashes just after having started Jetty (just after the first HTTP request is delivered to the app, to be precise) and you must restart the whole Unix user session to restart Eclipse. I was unable to collect any useful clue about the specific reason of the crash so far. It looks like Maven 2.2.1 do IS a prerequisite.
