Using the group in the mirror seems to work fine.  We have been doing this 
for close to a year now.  It just seems to be this one file.

Hi Timothy,

I haven't tried mirroring a repository group of an archiva 1.2.1 in 
settings.xml.
But what I've done was create a profile in the settings.xml for the repo 
group.
