I am right in the middle of reshuffling the merlin/meta package - getting stuff that isn't in the Avalon Meta into the Merlin composition package. Hang on for a bit (an hour or two) and everything should be ok.
I just complete a clean checkout and build and everything seems to be fine. Maybe your CVS update is slighlty out of sync as a result of the reshuffling I've been doing. Cuould you try again - do a checkout of avalon-sandbox/meta, followed by $ maven, then do a checkout of merlin followed by $maven merlin-dist and let me know what happens. In theory everything should be fine.
