to see if there were any other build issues, i added a version to the data-test.xml service element (test passed, heh) and the build is now once again failing where it was last night: in the jmx build the org.apache.avalon.merlin.jmx.ClientTestCase test case is failing because the initial context factory class isnt being set. i see that there is a jndi.properties in the jmx directory tree with what seems to be valid values (i can get javap output for the specified class) but it doesnt appear that the file is copied to the test case runtime directory.
