Ok, I will try that.  Two more questions:

Are you using prefer-web-inf-classes in weblogic.xml?

Do you have init-classloader set in web.xml?

We don't put them in the JDK's lib/endorsed. We put them in lib/endorsed and then use -Djava.endorsed.dirs=lib/endorsed when starting Weblogic.
