We have a major problem with our apacheds directory now. For some reason only a portion of the user accounts are visible when querying the directory. We have around 7500 user records, but the directory is only showing around 2200 and most user auths are failing. We had this problem a couple of days ago and restored from a recent backup to fix the issue, which it did for a while, but now it has reoccurred. Help - no one can log into our applications... We directly are fetching the entry, and check the password. There is no reason for authentication to be slow if there is some missing index. There must be something else going on, and logs could help understanding what. Also it would be interesting to get some CPU stats.
