HI :)
Oh, the 3.4.2 is stable. Problems with it are extremely rare. It's even more
rare for the 3.3.3 to have problems but it does happen on those very rare
occasions. Often just switching to the other branch is enough to fix things
and
that hasn't happened either, this time.

Have you been able to post a bug-report about the problem?
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport
If you can get onto the developer's list they might have more idea but it might
be best to just post a bug report and go back to OOo for a while.

Apols and regards from
Tom :)

Calc?

Thanks Tom. I'm out for a few days but I will look at this. I just want to
get one version - no desire to run multiples and I thought I was choosing
the stable version (at least the download said it was the stable version).
However, if I can't get this working soon, I'll have to punt and go back to
OO - I'm pretty dependent on that filter working.

I looked at some of the sample filters and they seemed to be set for XSLT
version 1, while my script is version 2. That may have some bearing on the
problem. Just wish I could see what it's complaining about.

Thanks again.
Kris
