Greetings. I thought I would let you know I am running L.O. 3.4.4. on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 - 64 bit with no problems. Thus it can be done.
Most likely the problem is being caused by some hardware or software setting on the computer. You may want to reboot Windows and bring it up in SAFE Mode - you do this by hitting the F8 key during startup. Then once you are up in Safe Mode - Install L.O. Good Luck!
