Hi :) I generally just cancel the recovery thing anyway as it rarely works quite the way i wanted it too and as you have found just opening the document seems to recover it anyway. Since this sounds like such extremely bad advice i do make sure i adequately back-up documents in the first place. Regards from Tom :)
