I'm having some trouble opening a legal pleading .doc, which has some line numbers on the left side of the page, in the form of a table in a frame in the header. MS Word opens it just fine, but LibreOffice 3.6 and 4.0.0.3 both seem to have the frame extending past the edges of the page, with the page count increasing until LibreOffice crashes by running out of memory.
The attached file is a .doc, and converting it to .docx fixes the problem (stupid frames), but I have many other .doc files like it, and re-saving each one isn't a desirable solution. crashy_pleading.doc <http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n4039033/crashy_pleading.doc> -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Frame-in-header-of-doc-crashes-Writer-tp4039033.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
