With documents of under 500 pages, less than 100 images, and less than 100 tables, MasterDocuments may not be worthwhile. With documents of 5,000+ pages, several thousand images, several thousand tables, and assorted other objects, system performance takes a nose-dive, when MasterDocuments are not used.
