Why forgiving? I think the way Kettle handled this is better then HOP does. For me the pipeline parameters looks like in functions in which I can define parameters with their defaults. >From the caller (workflow or pipeline) I can pass parameters, or not. If not, >they are default. In HOP I can not be sure whether it is the default or not. That depends on the other available variables. The problem is that I do not know about how many workflows/pipelines this gives issues.
