The library that Jena uses is jsonld-java (it's on github) - they would be
able to be answer that.


so it's jsonld-java that logs that? I'll ask them


The JSON-LD playground thinks that first you apply the rules for number
123.45 to get a string then apply the @type.


Gregg changed the playground a little after I asked him about this

What did it do?

(the JSON-LD is a bit opaque on this point - there is no one place of definitive text (that I've found)).
