Hi,

I have shifted to KDE from GNOME in Fedora using :

dnf install @kde-desktop

and uninstalled GNOME using:

dnf remove @gnome-desktop

Now common sense says that I should not be able to use GNOME any more.

*But,*

*I can seemingly log into GNOME from SDDM. *

The option still works, how ??

How is this possible?

*Does SDDM emulate GNOME ? Or did I not remove it from my system ?*

Can someone shed some light on this weirdness ?
