Thanks, what exactly is the TODO list or roadmap of AsyncWeb? And what is the 
current status of development?

One thing I can think of is that it needs to have / support plugin with web 
servers like Apache HTTP webserver.

Process is simple, you actively contribute to the community, in form
of patches, test cases, documentation, resolving issues.... And then
there is a vote for accepting as committer, passing which you become
committer.
