When removing NetBeans 12 prior to reinstallation. I find a folder in my home folder called .nbi. This looks like something NetBeans created, so I removed it too.
After reinstallation, and noting that the .nbi folder had appeared as expected, I started NetBeans and found no change. NetBeans is still telling me it cannot find java.lang. I have installed netbeans three times, first two times over version 14 of the Open JDK and the third time over version 12 of the Open JDK. I have no idea what is wrong.
