Someone in a hurry/panic may not have the patience to read all the way down: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5290 which frankly is WTMI for basic opening of a new application. Yes, understanding how Gatekeeper works is important for a Mac user to know but we should be making it easier for users of AOO to use AOO.
