I rarely read messages at all, but if I see a subject that feels interesting and I think I can help (if it's not interesting I can probably not help anyway), I'll at least read it. If it's full of insults, I'll just hope that I can resist the temptation to write back (which some times fail) or I'll just close the message and go on with my life.
