Similar problems exist between Windows installations - if the installed fonts are different, results will differ. Somewhere, there's available the standard basic set of Windows fonts, available for download for linux etc. Stick to those, and there'll be (hopefully!) no problem. Othwerwise it's really up to the user to make sure all fonts are available everywhere they're needed. There is a plugin that offers to check fonts within Writer - listed here as "testFontsJTB.oxt" - from the OOo website. Oh, and don't forget the 'options' dialogue offers font substitution tables. > > Is it not possible, OO give warning about missing font and guide user > to download font? > > I will feel obliged, if get tip to prepare documents and presentation > using OO, that look same on different platforms without exporting it > to pdf. -- Permission for this mail to be processed by any third party in connection with marketing or advertising purposes is hereby explicitly denied. http://www.scottsonline.org.uk lists incoming sites blocked because of spam [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
