First Daniel, you didn't pay anyone here.  This list is manned 100% by 
volunteers who are not in any way associated with OOo other than as a user.  
There is no contractual obligation between you and this list in general.

There are unscrupulous people who will charge you a fee to allow you to 
download this software, but the software is freely downloadable from the 
OpenOffice.org web site, no questions asked, no EULA to sign and you are then 
free to install that software as many times as you can convince other folks 
to give it a try.  In fact you are encouraged to do so.

If you paid someone for OpenOffice, please take the matter up with them.  No 
one here can do anything about it.

There are those on this list who can probably offer a fix if you would care to 
relate what the problem is.  But we aren't mind readers. :)
